Hackney has become the only candidate to earn the endorsement of a local Democratic organization upon earning the sole endorsement of the King County Young Democrats. Hackney has also earned more votes than the incumbent during the 11th LD Democrats endorsement meeting in May, and was one vote shy of earning their sole endorsement.
