The City of Burien has made grant funding available to support small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
“COVID-19 has created dual emergencies for our community—the very real public health threat and a significant economic slowdown,” said Brian J. Wilson, Burien City Manager.
“Some of our small businesses have been left out of previous economic recovery programs.
Funding for this program comes from money the City of Burien received through the federal CARES Act which disbursed funding for cities to navigate the impacts of COVID-19 in their local communities.
