Ashanti is celebrating the success of her sophomore album, which dropped 17 years ago.
The 39-year-old songstress recently left fans reminiscing about the good ole days after she shared a series of photos and video shoots taken for her “Chapter II” album in 2003.
Ashanti also shared a clip of herself on BET’s former music video show “106 & Park” and recalled how she used to always say “bananas.”
With a photo of her official “Chapter II” album cover and a series of video slides that played her most popular songs, the R&B crooner thanked all of her fans for their support and shouted out the producers and musicians who helped with her project.
I was still considered a new artist and had to live up to the success of my debut album “Ashanti”.
