Prior to the exciting reveal airing, Bow was a part of a Twitter Q&A on Monday, May 18, and said he’s walking away after his next album.
Bow told them that he still had his deal with Cash Money Records at that time but had no desire to release new music.
Bow said his releases were far more popular than Cannon’s and resonated with more people.
Speaking to People, Bow Wow talked about his experience on “The Masked Singer,” which Cannon hosts, and further elaborated on retiring from music.
Bow’s tweet about the Omarion project came on Tuesday, May 19, and it could be a sequel to their 2007 joint album “Face Off.”
