After overcoming serious health issues that nearly erased my existence several times and changed the course of the quality of my life over the last two years, I’m giving myself permission to talk about myself if it helps someone to avoid the physical, mental and emotional pain I did.
Nearly two years ago, immediately after returning home to North Cack-a-Lack from a two-week-long vacation odyssey visiting relatives from Maryland to Jersey, I noticed changes in my overall health condition.
As I said, the current issues I survived that began two years could be called a TV show reboot, but I actually starred in the pilot episode 18 months prior to the one ten years ago that landed me in the ER again.
Again, either the ego or stupidity factor came into play because although I had made the decision to forgo the pre-game appearance ritual and head to the ER, I began searching throughout the house for a book to read during my anticipated wait.
I readily admit that over the years I was inconsistent with my blood pressure and diabetes care.
