The Saint Lucia Meteorological Services has issued a flood warning as heavy rainfall accompanied by flashes of lightning and peals of thunder were experienced across Saint Lucia for a second day on Friday. The flood warning went into effect from 2:00 p.m. and runs until midnight. 'Heavy rainfall over Saint Lucia during the past 24 hours has raised the possibility of flooding and landslides in parts of the island prone to those hazards.
