Press Release:- PwC firms operating in the Caribbean have collectively donated US$50,000 to disaster relief and recovery efforts in Haiti after last month’s 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The money was raised by the partners and employees of the PwC firms in The Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, East Caribbean (Barbados and St. Lucia), Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. A cash donation of US$50,000 has been made to the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), a regional inter-governmental agency for disaster management in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
