Jury selection in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin began Monday. Chauvin faces charges of second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for the death of George Floyd. The trial is expected to begin on March 29, 2021. Friday, March 19 Day 10 of the jury selection process will begin with Judge Cahill expected to announce if the trial will be delayed or moved out of Hennepin County.
