The re-election team for President Donald Trump is shifting its “death star” campaign against Joe Biden into high gear with an onslaught of new ads covering everything from the Vice President’s dealings with China to his age to the widely publicized comment to Charlemayne Tha God that any African American having difficulty deciding between him and Trump “ain’t black.”
The Trump campaign has played up the statements —for which Biden was quick to apologize—on social media platforms and a video montage of Biden comments is set to run nationally.
Another ad is set to highlight Biden’s role in the 1994 crime bill which expanded the federal death penalty and created dramatically harsher sentencing laws including “three strikes,” that disproportionally impacted the black and brown communities.
Ironically enough, some of the negative ads take aim at Biden’s age, which is just four years olden than Trump’s.
The ads are part of a $10 million ad blitz against Biden that his campaign manager likened to the “Death Star”, referencing the Star Wars space station that could destroy a planet.
