Now in its second year, the cooler party event is one of several fundraising activities being held by Renegades to generate income and create a range of entertainment products that appeal to different market segments, the release said.

President of bp Renegades Colin Greaves said, “Over the past two years, we have been quite busy reinventing ourselves as part of our future-proofing strategy. From rebranding and launching a new logo, look and vibe, to our monthly panyard limes, use of technology and digital screens to enhance our performances, we are ready to deliver another memorable and explosive Represent event.

"Patrons will once again experience our Renegades fete band which features live horns and brass, Ableton technology, hype man, dancers and even a shoot-out against a popular DJ. When you add this combination to soca superstars like Destra and Iwer, you know it’s going to be a really fun and safe event to bring the curtains down on steelpan month.”

Following its high-energy performances at the recent Pan on the Avenue and Pan and Powder events, Renegades said it is working hard to ensure that its Represent performance is its best yet. The band encourages the public to not only support the free pan activities but also the paid events, which are very important for the sustainability of the pan fraternity, the release said.

Tickets for Represent cost $250 and are available at the panyard and online at island-e-tickets.com. Gates open at 8 pm and coolers are allowed in before 9 pm.
