A Chatham County intersection in Savannah will bear a different name this summer: the Flau’jae Johnson Intersection. A resolution plans to commemorate the legacy of LSU freshman, starting two-guard and aspiring rapper Flau’jae Johnson with a name change for the intersection of Abercorn Street and West Montgomery Cross Road. Johnson and her fellow Louisiana State University Lady Tigers led their team to the program’s first national championship win last Sunday night against the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. As the third-leading scorer, her contribution to the victory included 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
