The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) has partnered with Truist, a purpose-driven financial services company committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities, to launch a new scholarship program. A $3 million grant from Truist Financial Corporation, through its Truist Charitable Fund, will organize a scholarship program giving $1 million a year over the next three years to HBCU students in Truist markets. The scholarship program will offer two scholarships to over 300 students at historically Black Colleges and Universities and underserved communities. The Truist Access Scholarship includes 45 HBCU students awarded up to $10,000 in annual scholarships within Truist markets. The Truist Gap Scholarship involves Truist awarding $500-$6,350 one-time scholarships to 55 students attending an HBCU to fill a financial gap. Yahoo!
