To Serve on MAPS 4 Board

Monique Bruner will represent Ward 7 on a newly-named MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Board.
Earlier this week, the City Council affirmed the advisory board.
Budgeted at $987 million, MAPS 4 comprises 16 projects ranging from a new Fairgrounds Coliseum, to an animal shelter, to development of affordable housing.
The advisory board chairman said she was attracted to the idea of a long-term commitment to the betterment of the city.
In addition to Mrs. Bruner, these are the advisory board representatives: Russell Pace Jr., Ward 1; Allie Shinn, Ward 2; Harry Black, Ward 3; Shay Morris, Ward 4; Kevin Guarnera, Ward 5; Daisy Munoz, Ward 6; and Bob Nelon, Ward 8.
