The Chicago Sky secured their first WNBA Finals Championship on Sunday against the Phoenix Mercury. Candace Parker led the team to their first championship win in franchise history with 16 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals, ESPN reports . Parker's return to the city where she grew up wasn't far from her mind as she reflected on the meaning behind the win. "It was just an amazing feeling to be from here and see so many people in the stands that have been supporting you since you started," she said . The historic championship win was also celebrated by native Chicago celebrities, including former President Barack Obama and Chance the Rapper.
