Squash Trinidad and Tobago will send 21 athletes to participate at the 2023 Annual Caribbean Area Squash Junior Championships (CASA).
The tournament is being hosted by St Vincent and the Grenadines. The teams participating are Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Jamaica, St Vincent and the Grenadines and TT. Nine girls will represent TT at the games led by captain Sigourney Williams and taking charge of the 12-member boys team is Anthony Allum.
The eight-day tournament starts on Saturday and finishes on July 22. The first four days of competition will see the juniors compete in the individual category of the tournament for the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 titles.
For the first time in junior CASA, doubles and mixed doubles events will close off the first part of the competition.
The team competition will be held from July 19-22 and the TT boys and girls teams will compete in their respective categories for the boys and girls team titles and the overall team title. Head coach Ryan Jagessar, assistant coach Rhea Khan and manager Amelia Walcott will leave Trinidad with the team on Friday.
