TRINIDAD AND Tobago Olympian Tyra Gittens earned silver at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, US on Saturday.
Gittens, who made her Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Games last year in the women's long jump, competed in the women's high jump.
Gittens of Texas A&M University jumped 1.89m to claim second spot.
Jamaican Lamara Distin, also of Texas A&M, won gold with an effort of 1.92m.
Rachel Glenn of South Carolina took bronze clearing the bar at the 1.86m mark.
