A Memphis man led officers on a car chase before crashing into a tire store and continuing to run on foot. According to Newsweek, police said his mother was also inside of the car during the pursuit. Police said they stopped Kentrell Hullom on I-140 in Sycamore View in Memphis on Monday afternoon. In the middle of the traffic stop, officers said Hullom sped off, driving through oncoming traffic in an attempt to flee. The pursuit ended after the driver crashed his vehicle into Sal's Tires and Complete Automotive Repair. He allegedly got out of his car and proceeded to run on foot before he was apprehended and taken into custody. Police added that Hullom's mother told her son to stop the car and that she feared for her safety.
