Whether he’s tackling or catching interceptions for the Benson Bruins, finding open teammates or making shots for his Seattle Rotary AAU basketball team, Jamari Jones’ on court and on field battles are the least of his worries. In 2018, at the age of eight, Jamari, who excels as a dual-sport athlete, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. A diagnosis that would forever change his life.
