President Joe Biden delivered remarks on gun violence and preventative measures at the White House on Thursday. According to Politico, the announcement comes three months into his administration which has frustrated activists who have been waiting on the president to fulfill his campaign promises. The frustration grew after mass shootings in Atlanta, California, Maryland and South Carolina. It also comes less than one month after the deadly mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado where 10 people were killed by a 21-year-old shooter.
