FORMER radio personality and businesswoman, Emma Nxumalo on Saturday celebrated her 32nd birthday by donating food and clothing items to Queen Elizabeth Children’s Home and Jabulani Flats in Bulawayo as part of her #MyBabyToo initiative.
#MyBabyToo is an initiative founded last year after Nxumalo decided to give back to the community.
The businesswoman, who was part of the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards (RoilBAA) 2019 fashion police crew, said it was heartbreaking to hear people say food has become a luxury.
“I went to give to Jabulani Flats and Queen Elizabeth Children’s Home especially during COVID-19.
Jabulani Flats residents’ chair, Pamela Mackay, said they met Nxumalo through the Feed the City programme and they were grateful for the donation.
