The Dallas Weekly has been announced as the recipient of the News Equity Fund, a Google News Initiative making a global commitment to provide funding to marginalized communities. Their goal is to foster inclusion, enable a diverse ecosystem, and support small and medium businesses who create original content for underrepresented communities globally. Dallas Weekly will use this money to continue our work enlightening and telling the stories of the marginalized communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
