Hundreds of people in Martinique braved the rain and took to the streets on Saturday morning to protest new COVID-19 vaccine requirements that would make it compulsory for caregivers to get the jab. Local media reports say some 600 people took part in the peaceful protest in the Martinique capital, Fort de France. The protesters gathered from about 10 a.m. and marched on the prefecture, while chanting about freedom and declaring that they will not become guinea pigs. A similar protest was held on Tuesday night, one day after French President, Emmanuel Macron, announced that vaccination will become mandatory for all
