Justice Rahman Oshodi of a Lagos Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sitting in Ikeja has sentenced a security guard, Saviour Udoh, to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a five-year old minor in a church premises. Udoh was arraigned on a one-count charge bordering on sexual assault by penetration. The judge sentenced the guard after he was found guilty as charged by the state government. The prosecution counsel, Mr Babajide Boye, had told the court that the convict committed the offence on December 12, 2018, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Osifila Street, Anifowose, Ikeja, Lagos.
