Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton is pushing for legislation to reduce train noise and vibrations in the District, while also fighting against attempts by Rep. Chris Smith to rename a street in honor of a jailed Hong Kong democracy activist and disapprove of the District's Insurance Regulation Amendment Act.
