The family of George Floyd may be one step closer to justice.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is increasing charges against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin to second degree murder, in the death of George Floyd.
Also, the other three former officers involved are now being charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder.
This comes more than a week after Floyd was killed while in police custody.
Ben Crump, attorney for the Floyd family released a statement saying among other things, “This is a bittersweet moment.”
