By MARK LONG AP Sports Writer GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Florida coach Dan Mullen showed up after his team's testy victory against Missouri dressed as Darth Vader. Mullen insisted it was the only Halloween costume in the facility, not a conscious decision to play a villain. Nonetheless, it may have been the perfect role given Mullen's past few weeks. Kadarius Toney scored three times, Kyle Trask became the first player in school history with four touchdown passes in four consecutive games and the 10th-ranked Gators returned from a three-week layoff to handle Missouri 41-17 on Saturday night in the Swamp. American civil society has turned on Donald Trump just as South Africans turned on Jacob Zuma.
The incident happened because Trump was angry his brief sequestration for safety to a bunker underneath the White House during the demonstrations made him look weak.
Trump took Barr, Secretary of Defence Mark Esper and a combat uniformed chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, with him.
They included Republican Trump voters who said the video of George Floyd being killed by a police officer required a show of solidarity.
General John Kelly, who served first as Trump's Homeland Security secretary and then as White House chief of staff, urged Americans to think more carefully about who they elect president, at both his character and his ethics.
By NICOLE WINFIELD Associated Press ROME (AP) — The world premiere of a documentary on Pope Francis was supposed to have been a bright spot for a papacy locked down by pandemic and besieged by a corruption scandal, recalling Francis' glory days travelling the world to bless the oppressed. But the red carpet rollout of 'Francesco' has been anything but bright, with evidence that the Vatican censored the pope last year by deleting his endorsement of same-sex civil unions from an interview, only to have the footage resurface in the documentary. Aside from the firestorm the remarks created, the fiasco […]

The Whataburger company now finds itself doing serious damage control after Arizona State University football players claimed they were called the N-word and that a manager threatened to call the police on them.
Sun Devils cornerback Jordan Clark claimed he and two other teammates, tight end Nolan Matthews and safety T Lee, went to a Whataburger in Tempe, Arizona.
As they were standing against the wall, waiting for their food, the white woman allegedly told the cashier she was being harassed by the football players.
After the cashier completed the white woman’s meal, the football players claimed as she drove away, she yelled, “Thanks for the free food, n***ers!”
The football players said the Whataburger cashier did nothing but threatened to call the police on them for “harassing” customers.

In a fortnight the respective states will be counting ballots to determine the next President of the United States. Absurdly, we do not vote directly for the President but for electors who vote in the Electoral College on December 14, 2020, to crown the candidate who won a majority of Electoral votes, not necessarily a majority of the votes cast.
Named Lawrence Julius Taylor at the time of his birth in 1955 in Williamsburg, Virginia, Taylor was late in joining football as compared to the others in his field. Since he did not start playing until his junior year at Lafayette High School, Taylor was not highly recruited and so ended up at the University of Carolina.
However, his speed combined with a height of 6’4” and weight of 240 pounds, soon turned him into a force to be reckoned with and a threat to the opposing quarterbacks. In 1981, the athlete’s hard work eventually paid off and he was picked at draft by the New York Giants.
Joining professional football as a linebacker, Lawrence Taylor excelled quickly, collecting nine sacks in his rookie year which was to be followed by nine more Pro Bowl seasons. 1981 also saw the footballer become the first rookie to win the league’s Defensive Player of the Year title. Taylor was to win this honour twice more in the years 1982 and 1986.
1986 also proved to be Taylor’s best season as he finished with 20.5 sacks and 105 tackles, making him the first defensive player in 15 years to be named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. In 1995, the player was named to the NFL’s Anniversary All-Time Team.
Living up to his image of a strong player, Taylor never let his injuries slow him down. Suffering from a concussion and still willing to go on, Taylor played through another game with torn shoulder ligaments and a detached pectoral muscle. However, on-field problems were not the only ones Taylor had to deal with and his career suffered when the athlete failed the NFL drug test and had to be suspended for a month.
After his retirement in 1993, Taylor was arrested for buying crack in South Carolina. Even though he managed to get rid of drugs, the former football player was once again arrested in 2010 in charge of a third-degree rape of a teenage girl.
Even though he did not serve as a perfect role model for the football players of the coming generations, the former athlete was a force to be reckoned with during his time on the

Born in a small town of Sealy, Texas, in 1960, Eric Dickerson was raised by his uncle and aunt after his mother decided not to marry his father at the young age of 17. Even though he did not grow up with his father, Dickerson inherited athletic abilities from the former running back of Prairie View College.
Being a skinny kid who wore gasses, Dickerson spent the earlier years of his life being teased and taunted by the other kids in his neighborhood. However, once he started playing football, the world saw an entirely new side of Dickerson. From the time he first set foot on the field, to the time he reached 7th grade, Dickerson was making himself recognized as a running back.
Entering Sealy High School, Dickerson became a part of the track team and won the state 100-yard dash championship with an unbeatable time of 9.4 seconds. Even then, Dickerson showed more inclination towards football and continued to impress his coaches as a running back. Progressing into his senior year, Dickerson led Sealy to the state high school Class AA championship by rushing for 2,642 yards and 37 touchdowns. This earned him the title of a 1978 Parade magazine All-American.
Even though playing for the Oklahoma Sooners was Dickerson’s first preference, he joined the Southern Methodist University upon his mother’s insistence. The football player faced hindrances in his game in his freshman year due to injuries and spent a considerable amount of time off-field.
In his sophomore year, however, he made a comeback by rushing for more than a 100 yards in five different games followed by 19 touchdowns and the title of Southwest Conference Player of the Year in his junior year. Together with Craig James, Dickerson was given the name of ‘The Pony Express’ during his time at SMU.
His senior year proved to be the most successful of the four with a total of 1,617 yards, 17 touchdowns and a Cotton Bowl victory. The same year, Dickerson was chosen as an All-American, voted Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year and earned third
