The family of Joe Garcia, a Texas man who died a few days after losing his wife in a school shooting, has raised more than $2 million to cover various expenses in the wake of the series of tragedies. Joe’s wife, Irma Garcia, is one of two teachers who was killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas when a gunman opened fire on Tuesday. “She would literally do anything for anybody……no questions asked,” Irma’s cousin, Debra Austin, wrote on a GoFundMe page for the family. “She loved her classroom kids and died trying to protect them.” Joe died two days after losing his wife.
