Melody Webb has been appointed Norfolk State University’s first female Athletic Director, effective July.

Webb replaces Marty Miller, who is transitioning to a new senior leadership role in NSU President Dr. Javaune Adams-Gastons administrative team after more

than 15 years as Athletics Director.

Ms. Webb will lead Spartan Athletics to excellence both on and off the field of competition while also increasing NSUs visibility and competitiveness, Dr.
