Kentucky Attorney General: ‘Beyoncé’s Letter Has No Bearing On Whether Or Not I Prosecute Cops In Breonna Taylor Case’

Kentucky’s first black Attorney General has responded to a high-profile celebrity’s letter, which demanded that his office take action in the Breonna Taylor (pictured right) case.

On June 14, megastar Beyoncé (pictured center) wrote a letter to Daniel Cameron (pictured left), Kentucky’s state Attorney General.

Beyoncé’s letter behooved Cameron to file charges against three officers of the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) who were involved in the March 13 death of Taylor, 26, an aspiring nurse.

“Your office has both the power and the responsibility to bring justice to Breonna Taylor and demonstrate the value of a Black woman’s life,” Beyoncé, 38, wrote in her letter to Cameron.

However, Cameron said that Beyoncé’s letter holds no weight when it comes to his decision-making role as Kentucky’s top law enforcer.
