Washington D.C. is in an uproar as alumni and supporters of Eastern High School’s football program are not happy with the D.C. Public Schools (DCPS) athletic department’s investigation of a student. Shaun Powell Jr., a junior at the high school, had hopes of being a quarterback for the Eastern Ramblers. But his dreams were shut down by an investigation that determined his eligibility is invalid.
