Angola: Cultural, Tourist Agents Outline Strategy Against COVID-19

Luanda — Cultural agents and tour operators' associations will benefit from assistance, said Tuesday the minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Adjany Costa.

The strategy is aimed at easing the restrictions due to covid-19 pandemic, said the minister at the meeting with tourism and cultural agents.

But she said that everything will depend on realistic proposal to be submitted to mitigate the effects of the pandemic.

The minister also said a group of cultural and tourist agents will work with technicians from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Environment and the Ministry of Economy and Planning on a realistic proposal aimed to alleviate the losses caused by covid-19 pandemic.

Regarding economic relief measures in the tourism sector, agents proposed the adoption of credit and financing lines.
