On the eve of World AIDS Day, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a call for urgency and collective commitment to ending the HIV pandemic in America. While progress has been made in HIV prevention, the world stands at a crossroads, with the CDC emphasizing the need for sufficient investment to avoid setbacks in the nation's hard-won achievements. Dr. Robyn Neblett Fanfair, from the CDC, urged ongoing commitment and strengthened efforts to ensure equitable access to advancements in HIV prevention. The CDC estimates 1.2 million people in America have HIV, and addressing disparities remains a critical challenge. #WorldAIDSDay #HIVPrevention #PublicHealth #HealthEquity
