A founding member of the Peachtree Providence Partners was elected to the United Negro College Fund's board of directors, becoming the first Black board chairman for the historic Black organization. Milton H. Jones Jr., 77, is tasked with growing the endowments of 37 historically Black colleges and universities that fall under the UNCF umbrella, Yahoo News reported.
