Ten to One cops 100 awards in 5 years - Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

Since Ten to One Rum was introduced, it has won 100 awards in the spirits industry.

The company, in a release, said this accomplishment “solidifies Ten To One’s position at the forefront of a new vanguard within the global rum industry.”

Ten to One Rum was founded in 2019 by Trinidadian Marc Farrell.

“When we launched Ten To One, we wanted to set a new bar for excellence in the rum category, so to be recognised for that effort so consistently these past five years provides added inspiration for us to continue raising that bar.

“We can’t wait for what the next five years will bring,” Farrel said.

Farrel said the awards came from 20-world class competitions, including the Asia International Spirits competition, the World Rum Awards, the San Francisco World Spirits competition and the London Spirits competition.

“Each serving as validation of Ten To One’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship – the mementos of a sparkling legacy of sparking conversation in and around the rum category today.”

With a range of blends from region, the company produces three main types of rum: an extra-proof white rum, an aged dark rum, and Five Origin Select.

It has also released a limited edition Founder’s Reserve.

The company said with investors such as Grammy winner Ciara Princess Wilson, it “continues to exceed expectations and maintains its position as the fastest growing brand in the super premium rum category.”
