Saint Lucia's Ministry of Health and Wellness on Monday reported one new case of COVID-19 diagnosed from a total of 120 samples taken on July 17, 2021 and July 18, 2021. According to a ministry statement, the samples were processed on July 18, 2021. The statement disclosed that the patient was seen at a community respiratory clinic, assessed and tested there and placed in quarantine while awaiting the return of the COVID-19 test results. Arrangements have since been made to place the patient in isolation while contact tracing is undertaken. The ministry has also reported confirmation of the recovery of 15
