A number of X-rated events being promoted on social media has caught the attention of the Barbados Police Service, as religious leaders expressed disgust at the activities and called for them to be banned.In recent days, posters and videos promoting upcoming events have been making the rounds on social media, with organisers offering cash prices for winners of oral sex competitions and other sexual activities.Acting public relations officer Acting Inspector Stephen Griffith confirmed to Barbados TODAY that it was not the first time events like this had raised red flags for lawmen.“Investigations are always ongoing for such things by the police and if any laws are breached and there is appropriate evidence, people would be placed before the court,” he said.However, Reverend Lucille Baird and former Senator Reverend Dr David Durant told Barbados TODAY they were disgusted these types of events were taking place in Barbados and called on the relevant authorities to intervene.
