Barbados’ only confirmed case of Monkeypox, a Barbadian man in his twenties, has fully recovered, the Ministry of Health and Wellness said on Monday.The ministry also disclosed that there have not been any associated cases with this index case which was reported three weeks ago. In a statement on July 16, Minister of Health and Wellness Ian Gooding-Edghill said the man, who had travelled, had sought medical attention at the Winston Scott Polyclinic with symptoms of a progressive rash, body pains and fever within hours of his arrival in Barbados.
