[AIM] Maputo -- The National Council of Mozambique's main opposition party, Renamo, has effectively prevented Venancio Mondlane, the Renamo candidate for mayor of Maputo in last year's municipal elections, from running for the Renamo presidency at the party congress, scheduled for mid-May.
