[The Conversation Africa] Twelve African women's football teams remain standing after the qualifying rounds of the 12th edition of the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon). The final stage of this year's tournament commences on 3 July in Morocco, with the final match scheduled for 23 July. But the story of the contest is much bigger than this year's eventual result.
