MaskUpMKE donates 2,100 masks to the Department of Public Works

MaskUpMKE, a partnership between health care groups, community groups and other organizations, is currently working to create and distribute 3.5 million masks to first responders and local community members.
The masks are being assembled in part with support from local volunteers, and the supplies were donated by Rebel Converting.
This week, MaskUpMKE donated 2,100 non-surgical grade masks to front-line employees in the Department of Public Works.
“MaskUpMKE has been a fantastic collaboration between organizations in different sectors all coming together to support the community,” said President Johnson.
“The health and safety of our staff is always the top priority, and the contribution from MaskUpMKE will help us maintain our safety standards,” Daniels said.
