The ANC government's decision to shut down almost 1 000 non-viable schools in mostly rural KwaZulu-Natal has landed already-in-limbo pupils in another crisis: the looming school closures, and the likelihood that most may have to either drop out or endure walking distances to the newly-merged schools.
