The Kogi State Government has announced a ban on all forms of processions in Koton Karfe and neighbouring communities, effective immediately. The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement. Fanwo said the ban is aimed at curbing plans by some “elements” in the area to disturb the peace of the ancient town. He, however, urged all concerned to strictly abide by the ban and warned that violators will be treated as enemies of peace and the state. The government also directed law enforcement agents to enforce the ban in accordance with the laws
