Kerwin John was re-elected for a sixth consecutive term as president of the Tobago Cricket Association (TCA) at the November 30 annual general elections (AGM), held at Shaw Park Recreational Ground administrative building.
John secured a 23-8 victory over presidential challenger Navin Stewart. Marcus Daniel was elected first vice-president, Oscar Orr second vice-president, Lincoln Nelson treasurer and Tandeka Moses secretary.
The new executive serves a three-year term.
In his acceptance speech, John expressed gratitude to members “for their continued trust and pledged to lead with integrity and vision for the development of cricket in Tobago,” the association posted to its Facebook page.
The TCA thanked members from all registered clubs and affiliates, including representatives from primary and secondary schools, umpires and women’s cricket.
