The music department at the St Matthews Primary School has received a generous donation from a group of old scholars.On Tuesday, President of the St Matthews Old Scholars, also known as Project Helping Hands, Terentia Bowen, presented the Jackmans, St Michael-based institution with recorders, a public address (PA) system and rulers.Bowen shared with members of the media that following a conversation with the school’s former principal Esther Wilkinson, she contacted a number of other old scholars to combine financial resources to make the donation possible.
