Controversial GOP Representative Madison Cawthorn was hit with a legal challenge to his re-election hopes on Monday, as a group of voters filed a lawsuit contending that his comments at a rally the morning of January 6th, 2021 disqualified him from running for office as they violated the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.
