According to National Public Radio (NPR), Garrett Rolfe (pictured far left) and Devin Brosnan (pictured second left) separately turned themselves into the Fulton County Jail.
Rolfe and Brosnan surrendered to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department before their court-ordered Thursday deadline of 6 p.m. However, Brosnan bonded out quickly after being booked.
Prosecutors working for Fulton County District Attorney’s Office previously recommended a bond amount of $50,000 for Brosnan.
Fulton County prosecutors recommended a no-bond hold for Rolfe, which is customary in capital cases where a defendant faces charges that qualify him or her for the death penalty.
Prosecutors say Rolfe’s malicious lack of regard for Brook’s life after shooting him is what played a role in charging a capital-level murder indictment.
