By: Kelton Brooks In a reclamation project, the city of Charlotte is in the process of renaming nine streets previously named after Confederate leaders and white supremacists. The city shared a news release on Wednesday, announcing that Jefferson Davis Street, located in a predominantly Black neighborhood, would be changed to Druid Hills Way. The changes were approved by the Charlotte City Council in February.
