Southern Division police arrested six men in Cocoyea on Sunday night after recovering a car that was reported stolen in the Maraval district.
Two suspects, 19 and 20, are from Rich Plain in Diego Martin. A third suspect is a 20-year-old from St Barbs in Morvant and a fourth, 26, from Dinsley Village in Tacarigua.
The other suspects are a 36-year-old from Upper Church Street, Laventille, as well as a 26-year-old from El Socorro.
Police said Insp Ramlogan led an exercise between 7 am and 11 pm on Sunday, having received a report about a stolen Nissan Tiida car bearing registration PDC 889 on Saturday in Maraval.
The officers went to Dallas Avenue in Cocoyea, intercepted a Nissan Tiida car, and recovered the stolen car with a false number plate.
The exercise included police from the Southern Division CID and Task Force, Emergency Response Patrol, and Highway Patrol South.
