Black businesses reopen with caution due to coronavirus –

As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis eases stay-at-home restrictions to reopen the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic, local businesses in the area are doing all they can to reopen under those guidelines.

Things were slower at Styles 101 Beauty Salon & Barber Shop on Orange Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues, businesses are taking extra safety measures such as wearing masks and gloves and disinfecting everything.

The Daytona Times confirmed that other local eateries such as Bethune Grille, Crab Stop II, Kinfolk Café, Jet Set, The Famobley and The Hood Kitchen By Chef Kiki were offering takeout only as of the newspaper’s Wednesday deadline.
