Armed bandits robbed the Courts Saint Lucia Chaussee Road branch in Castries Thursday afternoon about 2:00 p.m. and escaped with cash and valuables, police say. According to information obtained by St Lucia Times, two of the bandits stayed on the ground flood of the store while the other two rushed upstairs where the cash was and forced staff at gunpoint to hand over an undisclosed sum of money as well as their personal valuables.
